Research and Investigation

All research and investigation in the Polytechnic has the goal of generating and verifying knowledge that will further the development of technologies with the purpose of solving the problems of our region and country. 

The Polytechnic counts on a System of Science and Technology that has as its mission the production of knowledge through investigation, by means of action groups and thinktanks. The Polytechnic currently has  57 investigations under way, with 800 students and 63 teachers linked to 37 thinktanks of investigation.  Since 2004 the Polytechnic has counted on the Cooperation of Student Investigation, an organisation that has the purpose of stimulating scientific and technological work and to recognize the better works of investigation carried out by students of the Polytechnic.
